A treasure find after years of searching.

A little update.

Show and Tell

Before I get to the end of this novella of a "comeback" post, I want to give a little update on a previous post. In that post, I mentioned a book that I really enjoyed as a very young girl. I believe it was the first book I read to myself, by myself, after I began reading. I remember having and reading the book quite a bit while living in, Japan. So, that means it was before I entered third grade since I was in Japan, kindergarten through second grade. Since I wasn't reading at this level until the end of first grade, it had to be second grade. Ugh..... this is one of those, "I miss my Mom times". Anyway, shortly after I stopped posting in July, I bought this book off of eBay. Gotta love, eBay! The story I remembered so well was, The Magic Geranium. Although after acquiring and perusing the book, I rediscovered the story, The Pink Cream Pitcher. What a delight! I may find the book in the attic of this house when I get to sorting it out; but in the meantime, what a treasure find that I have really enjoyed.

I am going to get this on Kelli's, Show and Tell Friday this week!

Be blessed! Be well!

I just looked in the places I know to search. Nothing. I will nose about from time to time.

Very sweet of you, my friend. Thanks! I will also be nosing around. Have been having pain issues even on meds (better, though), and will be seeing the dentist this morning. Hoping to be fixed. Tooth pain is just about the worst! Will update later! ((hug))

Kim, I meant to tell you, there is no ISBN number on that book. They just did not do that in, 1958. It was published by Wonder Books Inc., 51 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10010.

Tooth pain is horrible! Jon, had a root canal last Friday, and was so glad to finally get in and get it done. You have been on my mind because of that tooth. No matter what they have to do, it won't be anywhere near as bad as what you have been dealing with. I will pray for you when I get off of hear. I am going to have to go now as I promised a neighbor that went into Chicago, early this morning for medical tests, that I would drive her son to school. Then I have an assignment I have to finish today... class tonight.

Go get that tooth fixed!! and feel better.

Thanks for letting me know about the ISBN situation, Teresa. It seems so odd to see books without them, doesn't it? I have many old books without them and it sure makes them harder to find.

I can certainly sympathize with Jon! Did he have to wait very long after diagnosis? I want this over with! Man, it's so not fun!

Hope you're having a blessed day, my dear! I'm hanging in there!

Anni, I never noticed that. You are right though! Wow, the power of subliminal.

Thanks, I’m glad you liked it.

I think Jane Thayer wrote
a series of kids books about
a little ghost. They were so
cute. If I find it in the house
I'll let you know......
